Texas Rising Star is intended to measurably improve the quality of child care and early learning programs and thereby enhance children’s development and promote school readiness. Numerous research studies have shown that children who attend higher-quality child care and early learning programs are more prepared for school entry than children who do not attend high-quality programs.
